General

Q: I am having trouble logging into the site, what can I do?
A: You can reset your password. To avoid delivery into your junk/spam folders, please add support@dagooch.com as a contact prior to resetting.

Challenges

Q: How do I post a challenge to the DaGooch community?
A: Simply click ‘Need Fantasy Advice from the DaGooch Community?’ on the homepage and select sport/question that interests you.

Q: How many challenges can I post?
A: As many as you like. We encourage participation and feel free to post any fantasy challenge.

Q: Can I undo remove a challenge I have posted?
A: Nope. No need to worry, just post another challenge.

Q: How do I pick a challenge on the DaGooch?
A: Just click the player you believe will win the challenge. After you choose, the challenge will be removed from the homepage and be available under My Picks.

Q: When does a challenge lock?
A: Each challenge will lock 5 minutes before the first player is scheduled to start play.

Q: Can I change my pick or clear my selection?
A: Yes. Under My Picks, you have the option to either change your choice or clear the selection. These options are only available prior to the challenge locking.

Scoring

Q: When are challenges scored?
A: We will try to score each challenge by 11am EST the next day. The leader board will be updated every day at noon and announced on the homepage.

Q: How are challenges scored?
A: Standard scoring is used to determine the winner of each challenge. The view the breakdown, click here.

Q: What happens if there is a tie between 2 more challenge options?
A: This isn’t kindergarten tee-ball. Everybody doesn’t get a trophy for trying. In the event of a tie, the DaGooch admins will determine a winner. There will be no rhyme or reason for our selection so don’t email us about it. But we will leave a reason on the Smack Center for that challenge.

Q: How is the Gooch Factor determined?
A: The algorithm is under lock and key so don’t bother asking us. Just continue to win challenges and you will be alright.
